OVERVIEW

Senator Tedder has served in the SC Senate since 2023.  Prior to being elected to the Senate, he served in the SC House of Representatives.  A graduate of South Carolina State University and the University of South Carolina Law School, he lives in North Charleston and serves his community as an attorney.

Senator Tedder is a member of the American Bar Association, South Carolina Bar Association, Charleston County Bar Association, South Carolina Association for Justice, and South Carolina Black Lawyers Association. For five years, he worked as an attorney at David Aylor Law Offices. In 2023, he joined Rogers, Patrick, Westbrook & Brickman (RPWB) where he works on product liability, personal injury and criminal defense cases. He was recognized by the National Black Lawyers Association as Top 40 under 40 Personal Injury attorneys. He is also a 2022-23 Super Lawyers Rising Star for personal injury litigation.

Senator Tedder is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. He is active in his community including volunteering with Harvest Hope Food Bank and the Be a Mentor program.
