Kelley Perkins Brown was born in Melbourne, Florida. At the age of 8 she was placed at the Thornwell Home and School for Children in Clinton, SC, where she lived until graduation from high school in 1990. While at Thornwell Home she met the couple who became her adoptive parents.

She is married to Carl E. Brown (Trey) III of Aiken, SC. They are the proud parents of two daughters. They have one dog and three cats. They are avid football fans, and enjoy spending Saturdays in the fall cheering on the Tigers and the Blue Hose!

Trey and Kelley are members of the First Presbyterian Church of Aiken, SC, and serve on the Board of Visitors for Thornwell Home. Kelley is an inactive Ruling Elder, and has served the church in various other capacities as well. She is currently active with Presbyterian Women, the Handbell Choir, and serves as a Head Usher. She is also very involved with the PTO of her daughters’s school, and is currently surviving the 1^st and 4^th grades.
